* **Nominations Now Open For The HONOR Latino Awards*

"City Seeking Nominations To Recognize Community Leaders And Trailblazers"

 

    The city of Las Vegas is seeking nominations for the third annual HONOR (Honrando Orgullosamente Nuestras Obras y Raíces) Latino Awards. The awards will recognize the achievements of community leaders and trailblazers who have made outstanding civic accomplishments and contributions to the Las Vegas community.

 

    Nominations are open until 6 p.m. Oct. 31, 2024, and can be made at www.lasvegasnevada.gov/HONOR [ http://www.lasvegasnevada.gov/HONOR?utm_medium=email&utm_source=govdelivery ] in both English and Spanish.  

 

    Winners will be chosen by a committee made up of community members. The awards are a part of the city’s Hispanic Heritage Month festivities.

 

    Award categories include athletics, arts and culture, business and economic advancement, equity, healthcare providers and first responders, emerging leaders, spiritual leaders, outstanding leadership and education.
