*Mayor Shelley Berkley To Open Annual Urban Design Symposium*

Symposium Is Free And Open To The Public

 

    The city of Las Vegas will host the annual Mayor’s Symposium on Urban Design Friday, Feb. 28, at 9 a.m. at the Historic Fifth Street School, 401 S. Fourth St. Mayor Shelley Berkley will open the symposium that brings together architects and the community to discuss design in the growing city of Las Vegas.

 

    The symposium is a partnership between the city of Las Vegas and Eric Strain with Assemblage Studio, the Nevada Preservation Foundation and the Neon Museum.

 

    This year’s symposium will feature multiple speakers focusing on the relationship between cultural arts and architectural design.
