Spring Sports

*Youth Sports Registration Closes Feb. 5*

 

Our youth leagues emphasize the importance of physical health, teamwork and inclusion. Winter/spring sports include:


* basketball
* flag football
* indoor hockey
* pickleball
* soccer
* T-ball

These are community-based, family-oriented programs and our coaches are volunteers. All youth sports leagues are administered by a National Alliance for Youth Sports-certified administrator.

No School Fun Day

*2025 No-School Fun Days*

 

We will offer all-day supervised fun, recreation and enrichment for youth in kindergarten through eighth grade when the Clark County School District has staff development days this winter and spring:


* Monday, Feb. 10
* Friday, April 18
* Monday, April 28

Hours are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Prices vary by location. Space is limited and advance registration is required.

* Dula Community Center, 451 E. Bonanza Road, 702.229.6307. This adaptive recreation camp costs $20 per day for ages 6-18. (Not available Feb. 10.)

DPS Explorers

Department of Public Safety Accepting New Explorers

"If you have a young adult ages 15 ½ to 20 years old who wants to gain hands-on experience in law enforcement, this program is for them!"

 

Program Details:

* 16-week programs starts early this month.

* Receive educational training on the purposes, mission and objectives of law enforcement.

* Obtain career orientation experiences, leadership opportunities and community service activities.

* Optional eight weeks of additional scenario-based training plus ride-alongs for those interested in competing in the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Ex-Con competition in June 2025.

We are capping enrollment at 20 applicants. Once we reach our limit, a waiting list will be created for additional applicants. If you have any questions, please email dpsexplorers@lasvegasnevada.gov.
