*City Of Las Vegas Offers Free Spring 2025 Concerts In The Park*

"Live Outdoor Performances For All Ages"

 

     The city of Las Vegas is sponsoring two free outdoor events in the park this spring ― a traditional Japanese taiko drumming concert and an adaptation of Shakespeare’s “Comedy of Errors.” Both events are free, open to the public and appropriate for all ages. Reserve your spot now and receive event updates. Food trucks will offer refreshments for sale at each park. Bring low-back chairs or blankets to be more comfortable on the park lawn.

Set in the Greek city of Ephesus, “The Comedy of Errors” is a hilarious story of two sets of identical twins who were accidentally separated at birth. Years later, when one set of twins arrives to town and by chance encounters the community of the other set of twins, it sets into action a series of wild and ridiculous mishaps based on mistaken identities, including, love at first sight, accusations of theft and demonic possession! This 75-minute adaptation presented free in the park involves a variety of interactive and inventive theatrical storytelling elements with just six actors playing multiple parts, many quick changes, puppets, masks and dance. This is a great starter piece for those that are new to the Shakespeare experience, young and old, but promises to offer those die-hard Shakespeare fans a fresh look at a classic tale.
