****UPDATE - Finals To Begin Airing Feb. 25 on Vegas PBS****

 

*Black History Challenge To Be Aired On City Of Las Vegas TV*

"Competition To Be Broadcast Online And On Cox Cable Channel 2"

 

    As part of Black History Month, the city of Las Vegas will broadcast the BSU Network’s Annual Black History Challenge 2025 Preliminary Rounds on city of Las Vegas TV, Cox cable Channel 2 and online [ https://www.youtube.com/watch?utm_medium=email&utm_source=govdelivery&v=DoU6OmavGqA ]. The event was held at Las Vegas City Hall Council Chambers and sponsored by the Clark County Black Caucus in partnership with the Clark County School District and sponsored this year by the Las Vegas Raiders.

 

    Teams representing their BSU Club located at their school sites competed to earn one of two spots in the Challenge Finale that will air on Feb. 25 on Vegas PBS, where the winning team will take home a $1,000 cash prize for their BSU Club. The winning team will also have the honor of displaying the coveted championship trophy at their school until the next champions are crowned in 2026.

 

    The preliminary rounds will air on Cox Channel 2 at the following times:


* 6-8 p.m. Feb. 18
* 5-7 p.m. Feb. 19
* 7-9 a.m. and 9:30-11:30 p.m. Feb. 20
* 6:30-8:30 p.m Feb. 21
* 6-8 a.m. Feb. 22
