This evening-length work is the product of a dynamic artistic collaboration, featuring original choreography, writing and song.

 

The piece explores the current condition of humanity and is designed to engage, remind, inspire and uplift. The cast and creative team highlight students and resident artists from the West Las Vegas Arts Center and community. We are celebrating art as therapeutic practice, bringing life to theatre. Enjoy a special opening night reception Feb. 27, featuring live music entertainment and light refreshments. Seating is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis.

 

This program is presented in partnership with the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District.

The musical adaptation of Rick Riordan's bestseller, "The Lightning Thief," follows teenager Percy Jackson and his friends as they embark on a quest to find Zeus' missing lightning bolt and prevent a war among the gods. Percy, a newly discovered demigod, must grapple with his uncontrollable powers, unwanted destiny, and a slew of mythological monsters on his journey to clear his name and save the world.
